The working muscle
while using free weights obtain the maximum amount of resistance
when the free weight has the most gravitational pull. When using a
weight machine, the machine uses a cam system to distribute the
resistance throughout the range of motion of the muscle being
exercised. These three different types of resistance can be used to
provide a variety of resistance methods to the working muscles and
continually stimulate results.
Resistance bands can be
used to perform most free weight or weight machine exercises. Resistance bands
are available in many different resistance levels. When using a
resistance band their is no need to move from machine to machine or add
and remove free weight plates. |
